Terms-and-conditions

1. TERMS OF SUPPLY

These are the terms on which we offer to supply our services to you:

a. Who are we?
The Beer Festival Company a company registered in England & Wales (number 6211162). Our registered office is Suite 3 Capital House, Speke Hall Road, Hunts Cross, Liverpool, Merseyside L24 9GB. We call ourselves “BFC” throughout these terms.

b. What do we offer? - The BFC promise.
BFC strives to offer all its customers an excellent level of service. Through our web site, we offer access to sponsorship packages and entry tickets to the events that we organise working with clubs, associations and other groups.

c. How the sales process works
Once you have chosen which service you wish to order, you should proceed to the checkout. Your account will be debited with the relevant amount when you click on the “Buy now ” button. When we receive your order we will send you an order confirmation which will include an order number. We will check your order and that your payment has been received. Assuming that there are no problems with the order, BFC will administer the service to ensure that your sponsorship is properly executed and that your tickets are either sent out to you in good time, or else available for collection at the entrance lobby to the event for which you have made your purchase on the correct day and at the right time. Tickets will be issued on confirmation of the unique code noted on your email confirmation and subsequent email reminders.

If, for any reason, there is a problem with your order, we will contact you by e-mail at the address you have provided. We will offer you the option either to revise your order or to cancel it and have your card refunded. If we do not receive a response to our e-mail notifying you of a problem within 2 working days we will assume that you do not wish to proceed with your order and will refund your account.

d. Restrictions on our service
Age Limit
In the UK, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to buy alcoholic beverages. We will not sell or deliver tickets to anyone who is, or seems to be, under the age of 18. All customers must confirm that they are at least 18 years old and agree to supply proof of age if we or our partner organisations ask for it.

Some events may be reserved for people over the age of 25, if this is likely to affect you, please check before making you purchase.
e. Cancellations
You may cancel your purchase at any time leading up to the event for which you have purchased tickets and claim a full refund. Cancellation of a sponsorship order will be made subject to deductions to cover printing costs and other administrative costs associated with the sponsorship. This does not affect your rights under law.

f. Prices
Our prices are shown in pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax (currently 17.5%) except where otherwise indicated. Any delivery charges that might be incurred would be charged in addition and would be subject to VAT.

g. Collection
Tickets will be available from staff located in the entrance areas to each event or from manager at the cash desk. Unique reference codes supplied to you in confirmatory emails will be matched to records maintained by BFC and tickets issued accordingly.
