Building on the success of last year's wonderful sporting lunch, there will once agan be fabulous food from renowned caterers with a selection of fine wines.
After a wonderful meal in great company, guest speaker, Ray French, will entertain you and your guests.
Ray French is now best-known for commentating on the BBC TV coverage of Rugby League, but he also achieved an unrepeatable first, when he became the first player to win international honours in both codes of rugby; he went on to tour Australia and New Zealand with Great Britain.
When he finished playing he went into coaching, before joining BBC Radio Merseyside in 1975. He joined Eddie Waring as expert summariser on the telly in 1979 and 2 years later took over the commentating duties for the BBC. He has now been commentating for over 26 years.
